It’s not just a CTRL+V CTRL+C world anymore

It’s way more than that. We copy a lot of things and need to get back to it a lot! Sadly, Windows *doesn’t let you get back things you had copied earlier easily.

But fear not! There is yet hope.

Introducing, Ditto

It’s got the simplest interface ever! Just keep hitting CTRL+C for whatever you need to copy, and while pasting, if the item you want isn’t the last thing in your clipboard, then just hit CTRL+` (ie ‘CTRL’ + ‘the tilde button ~, the one mostly above your TAB) to get access to the list of items you’ve copied before.
